A rotation into a remote base is scheduled work at a defined rate, not discretionary overtime, and it should be evidenced as regular income rather than averaged down as variable pay.
Where you live and where you are based can differ
Being based away from the home you are buying is normal in this role and does not stop a purchase, but the employment letter has to be clear about the arrangement so the file is not read as a relocation.
Critical care qualification is a band, not a step
Moving into critical care usually moves you onto a different band rather than up a step. If that move is close, the timing relative to an application changes the number materially.
Standby and callback are contractual
